Choreographer Anton Pimonov, the author of Brahms Party, returns to the artists of the Ural Ballet and the music of Johannes Brahms. In the title Hungarian Dances he emphasizes the second word. Apart from some poses from the dictionary of folk stage dance, there is nothing Hungarian in the ballet. Pimonov prefers not to connect artists and viewers with folklore allusions and suggests just dancing — but the simplicity of his choreography is usually deceptive.
