Ivana Miklošková

Miklošková studied painting at the Secondary School of Applied Arts and continued her education at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in atelier of stage design (prof. Ján Zavarský). Since 2015, she has been an assistant teacher of drawing at the department of stage design at the same Academy.

In 2011, she studied fashion design during her internship at Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences in Norway. She participated in workshops with stage designer Boris Kudlička and workshops led by German lighting designer Max Keller. During the last few seasons she has closely cooperated with Tomáš Pilař, an opera director and Head of Opera of J.K.Tyl in Pilsen, and has designed costumes for his productions of

Aida (G. Verdi) and others.

In addition to stage and costume design Ivana Miklošková is involved in painting and drawing and participated in exhibitions in Oslo and Brno and worked as web-illustrator for ‘Make’ graphic studio, where she designed a uniforme for HC Kometa Brno ice hockey team, etc. She has created illustration materials for the Festival of Percussion and Festivadlo (a festival of French speaking theatres in Brno) and also works as a fashion designer, creating wedding dresses and her own fashion items and accessories.
