Klara Dovzhik

Graduate of the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet, 1992. After some short period of work at the Maly Opera Theatre in St.Petersburg (today, the Mikhailovsky Theatre), she was admitted to the Mariinsky Theatre company. From 1998, a staff member of the ballet company at the Opernhaus Leipzig, and from 2001, a staff member of the ballet company at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.

In her present status of a teacher and assistant choreographer, she has been collaborating with Vyacheslav Samodurov on production of the ballets Romeo and Juliet (the Flanders Royal Ballet, then the Ural Ballet), Amore Buffo, Colordelic, The Snow Queen (all with the Ural Ballet), Undine (The Bolshoi Theatre), and Le baiser de la fée  (Perm Ballet).
