Alessandro Bicci
Artistic Director of the Ural Opera
In 2005, he graduated from the Giuseppe Tartini Conservatory in Trieste with a piano degree. He worked as an accompanist at the Teatro Lirico Sperimental in Spoleto, at the Opera Studio of the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, at the Florentine Musical May Theater. In 2013, he graduated from the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts in Chisinau with a degree in symphonic conducting (class of George Mustea).
In 2008-10 he worked at the La Fenice Theatre in Venice. As a conductor, he has performed in theaters in France, the Netherlands and Russia. In 2011-14, he worked at the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia as a coach and teacher of the Italian language, concertmaster of the Tetra Youth Program, participated in productions of the operas La Traviata and Don Carlos by Verdi. In 2016-2024, he was a vocal teacher and conductor of the Tatar Opera and Ballet Theater in Kazan; he toured the Netherlands with the band in 2019. Collaborates with the Sakha Opera Ballet, Volga Opera, Perm Opera and Ballet Theater.
In 2023, he worked at the Ural Opera on the production of Donizetti's L'elisir d’amore as a conductor and vocal coach.
Since 2024, he has been the artistic director of the opera of the Ural Opera Ballet Theater.
