Tatiana Noginova
Costume Designer
As a costume designer at the Mariinsky Theatre she has worked on productions of Katerina Ismailova, The Gambler (co-production with the Teatro alla Scala in 1996 and a 2007 production), Boris Godunov, The Enchantress (co-production with the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos in Lisbon), The Snow Maiden, War and Peace and Mazepa (co-productions with the Metropolitan Opera), and Richard Wagner’s tetralogy Der Ring des Nibelungen. A staff member of the project A Creative Workshop of Young Choreographers at the Mariinsky Theatre.
As a costume designer she has worked on over seventy plays, operas and ballets at the Bolshoi Theatre and at the opera and ballet theatres in Perm, Novosibirsk and Chelyabinsk and at drama theatres in St Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk, Norilsk, Orenburg. Noginova worked abroad on the productions of Salome (Chicago Opera), The Love for Three Oranges (Sydney Opera, Australia) and the Broadway musical The Little Mermaid. She collaborated with Stage Entertainment (Moscow). At the Ural Opera Ballet she designed costumes for the ballets Swan Lake, Giselle, La Naïade et le pêcheur and Don Quixotte.
